Personal statement:

I believe that it is our responsibility as a communicative disorders program to prepare our students for the complexities of evaluating and treating culturally/linguistically diverse clients.

 

Clinical emphasis:

Child language disorders, the evaluation and treatment of bilingual/bicultural communicative clients, with an emphasis on Spanish, and communicative disorders in the public schools.

 

 

Scholarly/Research Emphasis:

My research interests are in communicative disorders services with culturally/linguistically diverse children.
