Speech Minor Information

The Speech Communication Minor

The SPCH Minor is designed to provide students with selected courses that will best help them implement their majors.  As such, no specific courses are designated.  The minor consists of 21 units of speech communication courses jointly determined by the student and his/her minor advisor.  Courses popular with SPCH minors are:

·        Nonverbal Communication

·        Persuasive Speaking

·        Communication in Interpersonal Relationships

·        Rhetoric of Popular Culture

·        Communication in Groups & Teams

·        Interviewing

·        Intercultural Communication

·        Interpersonal Conflict Management
