IMPORTANCE OF EARLY SPEECH PREPARATION

 

 

 

This note is to remind you of the importance of early preparation of your speeches.  You need to allow enough time to investigate the topic thoroughly, choose the best information to include, prepare the speech, prepare the written statement, let the speech settle, and practice it at least seven times.  You should start at least a week and a half ahead of your speaking date.
