Two Ways of the Land
During the summer of 1989 I received a grant from the gannett newspaper
chain to travel around the United States and take pictures. I drove over 11,000
miles in two months taking about 50 rolls of film. When I returned home, I
paired the images together in the tradition of Stephan Lorant's, "Third Effect."
