Cold Comfort
As a photojournalism class project for Professor JB Colson at the
University of Texas I photographed people who lived in a typical Austin
nursing home. I learned that those who are curious and active will
retain those traits late in their lives and those who are sad and complain
will be that way when they are old. I also discovered the power of photography.
