Assignment 9: Using FrontPage
For this assignment you will create two website files using Microsoft's FrontPage. In one file you will have 10 sites you find on the Web that are of personal interest to you. Use a picture from each site and link it to the site. Write a brief description for each site. Include a heading. In the other file, write a brief resume describing your educational and professional background along with career goals. Include contact information. You will include these files with your personal homepage assignment.

1. Start up Microsoft FrontPage 98
2. Click the "X" box at the top-right corner for the two windows that appear
3. Click "Cancel"
4. Click the Editor icon (it has a red feather in it) in the toolbar at the top of the desktop
5. Under Format select Background and select the background, text, and link colors
6. To use an image, from the Insert menu item, select Image. Find an image's file name you have previously downloaded to your disk and double click it
7. Write text for your pictures. Highlight the text. Make face, size and color decisions from the toolbox at the top. To make a link, simply click on the hypertext icon with the picture (or text) highlighted and type in the URL in the box at the bottom and click OK
8. Switch from Normal, HTML, and Preview at bottom to see work and program
9. Remember to use browser-safe colors and include the necessary meta commands at the top of each file
10. Under File select Save. Save the personal interest file as assign9p.htm and the resume file assign9r.htm. Print out your files
