Internet Online
Suppose that you were preparing a
paper on the role of interpersonal trust in relationships. Consider the possibility
of
searching for information on the Internet. Using the three categories of sources
listed below, identify three sources in each
category and look them up. When you
have completed the task, list your source review on a sheet similar to the one
provided at
the bottom of this page
Commercial Sources
McGill-Queen's University Press (Chapter 1 of Dilemmas of Trust by Trudy Govier)
Interpersonal Trust Surveys (Prentice-Hall of Canada)
TrustWorks (MPA Inc.)
Virtual Consulting (interpersonal skills development)
Search Engines
Use as many of the the following search engines as you wish (at least two) to find at least
three sources of relevant information on the topic of interpersonal trust:
Inference Find
Oingo
Searchopolis
Snap
Yahoo
Remember, if you cannot find relevant materials using a combined phrase, such as "interpersonal trust," use alternative keywords. Or, you may wish to separate the terms and look for sources that deal with "trust" alone. Make sure only to include those that are related to communication, however. The concept of trust has many other meanings in financial and business settings that are largely irrelevant to this assignment.
