Student Rating of Instruction (SRIs)
Student Rating of Instruction will be administered at or about 3 weeks before Final Exams. The SRIs must be done before Final Exam week and must be administered by another faculty person. Instructions will be included in the SRI envelope. PLEASE ASSIST THE OFFICE STAFF BY CHECKING THE COURSE NUMBER AND SCHEDULE CODE NUMBER ON THE LABELS OF YOUR SRI PACKETS. We do our best to ensure accuracy, but the sheer volume of numbers involved increase the possibility of error. When administering others’ SRIs, please encourage students to write comments. Place ALL forms inside the envelope and return to Ramona. (After hours, please use the “SRI/Grades Drop-off Box” in the workroom.)
Please remember to pick up and return all pencils!
All SRIs are confidential and are kept in locked file cabinets. You may look at them after your final grades are turned in, if the forms are still in the department office. You will receive a printout with your own information. If you have any questions regarding the printout, please see Dr. Kurt Kitselman if you’re a part-time instructor or see the Basic Course Coordinator, Dr. Javette Hayes, if you are a Teaching Associate.
