About the Professor
HyeKyeung Seung, Ph.D., CCC-SLP (Associate Professor) joined the Communicative Disorders program in the Department of Human Communication Studies in the fall 2006. Prior to joining the CSUF, she taught at the University of Florida, and University of Texas at El Paso. Her educational background includes undergraduate (Korea University) and graduate degrees (Seoul National University) in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Communicative Disorders (University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1998). She developed her deep interest in autism after completing her Clinical Fellowship Year in 1999 at the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic at the Yale Child Study Center, Yale University.
Dr. Seung is a member of American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association, the Society for Research in Child Development, the International Society for Autism Research, and the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual Disabilities.
