Refer to the link below: CSUF inside online magazine For details of each research project, please check Language development, Parent support group, and Theory of Mind sections.

Language Development of Children with Autism:

This is an intervention study that focuses on vocal imitation for children with autism who are close to nonverbal or have limited word production. Children age between 2 and 10 years old, diagnosed with autism, and saying fewer than 50 words can participate in the 10-week intervention study. Each child will come to the Speech, Hearing, and Language clinic at CSUF three times weekly. This intervention will be provided by Dr. Seung or her research team free of charge.
If you are parents of children with autism and interested in having your child participate the study, please contact Dr. Seung at (657) 278-7175 or email: hseung@fullerton.edu

Korean Parent Support Group:

This study examines the potential benefits of a monthly support group for parents who have children with autism. This project began in June 2007 with a dozen Korean mothers. This project was funded by the Yen Do Research Scholarship, College of Communication. The meeting is at CSUF every first Saturday at 2:00-4:00pm. Dr. Seung is planning to begin a second group of Vietnamese parents who have children with autism in a near future.
