Personal statement:  I believe it is essential for speech-language  pathologists to have a rigorous preparation in both  the scientific aspects/principles and the clinical practice of our profession.

Clinical Emphasis:  Adult neurogenic disorders of communication.

Scholarly/Research Emphasis:  My research interests are in word retrieval and discourse in the adult aphasic patient,  aphasia remediation in the multicultural setting.
