|
About the Division Mission Statement To support the examination of theory and application of contemporary communication technology as related to human communication studies, pedagogy, and other functions. History NCA approved the HCTC at the November, 1998 NCA Annual Convention. It was the resulting effort of the work of Karen Krupar, Clark Germann, Mary Mandeville, Frank Dance, and Dennis Wingall. Paper Admission Philosophy HCTC invites submission of panels and papers on technology related issues that foster research, learning and performance in areas that address the challenges faced by communication educators who work with technology. The Division is especially interested in technology as it relates to areas of computer mediated communication, intellectual property rights, ethics, teaching and learning, security, accessibility, accountability, globalism, distance education, and training and development. |
