Students often have questions about questions. Please pick the appropriate media (in person, phone or e-mail) for your question. It will save both you and me some time and confusion.

I just had a couple of questions about this Pitch letter. Am I supposed to pitch the Oceanside article in Sunset Magazine to Peter Jensen as if the article has not come out yet? When I looked online the article was from 12/02. Does that mean I have to change the date before 12/02 on the top of the pitch letter? Do I have to mention everything in the article in the pitch letter? Also, in class you mentioned that we should go to Sunset Magazines web site and read the different day trips. What do you exactly mean? How is that suppose to apply to the Pitch letter? Sorry I'm really confused on this one! If you could explain to me in detail about what I'm suppose to do with this article that would be great! I know that you have a detailed explanation on the Pitch letter format, but for some reason it's just not clicking for me! Thank you!! As you may realize, these questions would best be handled either via the phone or in person. There are just too many of them to handle via e-mail.

Hello Mr. Gaschen. I am stuck on words I was wondering if you could take a look at what I have and give me some advice. Again, advice is something you need to do in person or via the phone. This request also puts me in a difficult position. Should I complete the assignment for the individual? Do I say everything is fine, only to correct it later? Since I provide advice on the draft, I'd pass on this request.

For the upcoming pitch letter assignment do you want us to research places in addition to what was in the Day Trip article or would you prefer us to focus just on information included in the story? You need additional research.
