VATICAN CITY is  the center

for the  world's 1.142 billion Roman and Eastern

Catholics. The  walled city located in the center

of Rome has a population of about 800. Though small,

Vatican City includes the Basilica of St. Peter,

including the Chapel of the Pieta by Michelangelo,

one of his most famous works, the Vatican Palace and

Museums and the Sistina Chapel.
