Location and Admission

 

The Richard M. Nixon Library & Birthplace is located at 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd., Yorba Linda, CA 9886-3949.  Phone number is 714-993-3393.  Hours of operation are daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Admission for students (please bring identification) is $5.95. However, admission is free on George Washington’s Birthday, Feb. 22.  Make sure you get your admission slip.

 

It is a wonderful library so plan to spend some time there.  Bring the family! 

 

 

Assignment

 

Write a double-spaced two-page paper in which you list (in order of importance to you) the three most impressive things you learned about Richard M. Nixon at the library. Then write a two-page, double-spaced essay about why you consider that the most impressive thing you got out of the library. Use supporting secondary sources. Make sure you place those sources and page numbers in a footnote or endnote.

 

The paper should have an introduction, body and conclusion.

 

Include a title and have the paper free of grammar and spelling errors.

 

The admission slip must be attached to the paper.
